Karachi: Authorities in Karachi have decided to send a CCTV footage of drive-by shooting of Jamia Binoria’s clerics to London for closer examination.
Police sources said the faces of the culprits in the video were not visible enough, which is why the special branch has decided to send it abroad.
The process, which costs Rs3 million, might take 15 to 20 days, officials said.
The footage shows three people riding a bike intercepting a white Suzuki vehicle at Shahrah-e-Faisal and one of them shoots at the clerics sitting inside it through the window.
The attackers then escaped on the bike within a few seconds.
The dead were identified as Mufti Abdul Majeed, Mufti Saleh Mehmood and a student of Jamia Binoria Hassan Ali Shah who was driving.
