Taliban Government Provides Education to Over 25,000 Begging Children

Kabul: The Taliban government in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has collected more than 25,000 begging children from the streets and provided access to education.

According to media reports, Samiullah Ebrahimi, the spokesperson for the Afghan Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, stated that the ministry has identified and enrolled over 25,000 children who were previously begging or working as child laborers across the country. These children, who were either begging or involved in labor, are now part of a formal program to provide them with education.

It’s worth noting that in Afghanistan, countless children are seen working in various fields, from shoe polishing on the streets to cleaning cars and even carrying cans to support their families.
