Tehran: Iran has issued a stern warning to Israel, declaring a “tough countdown” in response to the killing of a top Iranian military adviser by Israel in an airstrike in Syria.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian expressed condolences to the family of Sayyed Razi, emphasizing Razi’s role as an Iranian adviser combating terrorism in Syria, and that Tel Aviv has initiated a “tough countdown”, and now Israel awaits a harsh retaliatory attack.
He stated that this Razi, for years, bravely confronted terrorists alongside General Qasem Soleimani, ensuring Iran’s security.
On the other hand, a large number of students and the public in Tehran gathered in front of the building of the National Health Council, demanding revenge for the blood of Sayyed Razi from the Zionist Israeli government.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) described Razi as a great military adviser” and friend of Soleimani. Iran holds Israel responsible for the airstrike and warns that there will be consequences, stating that Israel will pay a price for Razi’s death.
It is worth noting that the situation in the Middle East has remained tense since the start of Israeli aggression in Gaza on October 7, which has left over 22,000 Palestinians martyred. More than 53,000 individuals have been injured, including over 8,000 children and more than 6,000 women.
Among those martyred in Israeli bombings, there are 310 members of medical staff and 100 journalists. Additionally, 35 personnel from the Civil Defense have also lost their lives.
