NEPRA Approves Rs. 3.07 per Unit Increase in Electricity Price

Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification, increasing the electricity price by Rs. 3.07 per unit.

According to media reports, the notification includes an increase of Rs. 3.07 per unit in electricity prices, and this hike is part of the October fuel cost adjustment.

The issued notification states that the increase in the electricity price will not apply to lifeline consumers and K-electric consumers. The increase in electricity prices will be reflected in the electricity bills for December.

It is worth noting that the approval of the issued notification will be given by the federal government, and after that, the per-unit increase will be implemented in electricity bills.
