Jerusalem: Youssef Abu Resh, the Deputy Health Minister of Gaza, has confirmed that no hospital in the northern Gaza Strip is operational, except for one hospital that can provide services to patients or the wounded due to continuous Israeli attacks and blockades.
Youssef Abu Resh stated that at Al-Shifa Hospital, premature deaths of two infants and two other patients have occurred due to the lack of electricity. So far, six premature deaths of infants have occurred due to the unavailability of electricity, while nine other patients have also died.
On the other hand, Ashraf al-Qidra, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, has reported that at the largest Al-Shifa Hospital complex in Palestinian territory, operations were halted after the fuel ran out during the week. The number of deaths among patients and the wounded has reached 20.
