Islamabad: Senators in the Senate have demanded the removal of Israeli envoys from Islamic countries, expressing their belief that if Islamic countries expel Israeli envoys, the Palestinian issue will be resolved. Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan called for the Senate members to allocate their one month’s salary as aid to the Palestinian Muslims. Members of the Senate said that they present accolades to Hamas leader Abu Obaida.
The members of the Pakistani senate stressed that the dead bodies are lying all over Gaza and under the intoxication of power, Israel is turning Gaza into a bloodbath. The senate members also questioned the silence of the Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai over the genocide of Palestinians and said that at the very least she should raise her voice for Palestinian children and mothers.
The discussion on the situation in Gaza continued in the upper house for a second day. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has formed a committee consisting of members from various parties, including Jamaat-e-Islami’s Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Mushahid Hussain, Sherry Rehman, and others, to prepare a resolution.
Expressing concern about the situation in Gaza, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan presented accolades to Hamas leader Abu Obaida. If Muslim countries expel Israeli envoys, the Palestinian issue will be resolved, he added.
Senator Qurat-ul-Ain Marri said that schools, mosques, and hospitals are being targeted, and there is no water and electricity in Gaza. Palestinians are being subjected to genocide. Israel is committing crimes against humanity. In London, Paris, Berlin, and every country in the world, Muslims, Christians, and Hindus are protesting against the ongoing oppression and injustice in Palestine.
