Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, two more Kashmiri youths have been martyred due to the aggression of the Indian forces.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during a search operation by the occupying Indian forces in the Kulgam district of the Ganderbal Valley, the sanctity of a mosque and the dignity of women were violated. The occupying Indian forces sealed off the internal and external routes of the area and conducted a search operation, during which indiscriminate firing took place at a house.
As a result of the firing, two youths were martyred. The martyred youths have been identified as Ameen Butt and Saqib Ahmed. Both were students and had come from their respective villages to live in a house near the university.
Upon the martyrdom of these youths, residents of the area staged strong protests against the Indian forces and chanted slogans in favor of the Kashmir freedom struggle. In response, the police charged the demonstrators with batons and used tear gas shelling.
