Ankara: On Sunday morning two terrorists detonated a bomb outside the government buildings in the Turkish capital, Ankara, resulting in multiple injuries, among whom are 2 police officers.
According to media reports, the spokesperson for the Turkish Ministry of Interior stated that the attackers’ vehicle collided with the gate of the Ministry of Interior, causing a powerful explosion. As a result, one of the attackers was killed on the spot, while the other detonated himself with an explosive vest.

The spokesperson mentioned that the explosion appears to be an act of terrorism, and the area has been cordoned off from all sides. Rescue teams arrived promptly, and the injured have been transferred to nearby hospitals for immediate medical assistance. Further investigations are underway.
