Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
According to a notification, the government has approved a reduction in prices for petrol, diesel, and other petroleum products.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the reduction in prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days (1st to 15th May), which includes a decrease of Rs 5.45 per liter in the price of petrol and Rs 8.42 per liter in the price of diesel.
In addition to petrol, the government has also approved a decrease of Rs 8.74 per liter in the price of kerosene and Rs 5.63 per liter in light diesel.
The new reduced prices of petroleum products will be applicable from 1st to 15th May.
