MUMBAI: Bollywood’s Dabang Salman Khan’s Sultan has been performing phenomenally in both the domestic and International markets.
The movie is in its first week of release and has already already earned Rs 105.4 crores, and is expected to cross Rs 150 crores mark on its first Saturday.
The movie had the 90 percent of occupancy on weekend and according to Indian Express report, its business is expected to be around Rs 35-40 crore. If all goes right, the film’s business should be over Rs 160 crore in the first weekend.
Sultan’s production budget was Rs 70 crores, wile Rs 20 crores were spent on Print and Advertising, which makes it a total of 90 crores.
Whereas, the movie has already earn almost 105 crores till Friday, and it might enter Rs 150 crore club after its first weekend, and this looks very much possible.
The film is also Salman’s biggest opener till date. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan made Rs 102.6 crore in three days, his Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo could garner Rs 101.47 crore.
Sultan has already helped the sluggish box office we saw in the first six months in Bollywood. The Salman Khan film is the third film which made to the Rs 100-crore club. The other two are Airlift and Housefull 3.
