LAHORE: Legendary Pakistani batsman and former Test captain Inzimam-ul-Haq feels that talented Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir’s addition to the Pakistan training camp is good sign for Pakistan Cricket.
While giving an interview to Khaleej times legend said that “He did well in the Bangladesh Premier League and if he can come up with similar performances for the Pakistan team in the future, it will be great,”
While talking about Pakistan India clash in the world T20 he said that “Both teams are good and the competition will be tough. But India hold the edge here as they haven’t lost to Pakistan yet in a World Cup match and this barrier Pakistan will have to break.”
He stressed on revival of Pak-India series and shared his experience when he was in Pakistan side, “I remember I was the captain when the Indian team toured Pakistan some 11 years ago. The Indian players were warmly received everywhere. When we travelled to India, we received the similar treatment.
“Now Pakistan will be touring India for the World T20. I believe if that can happen, then a series can also be played,” he asserted.
