KASUR: Five dacoits have been killed in police encounter near Chirawan bypass area of Kasur, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, local police was taking two arrested dacoits to present before court when a group of five armed assailants who were companions of arrested criminals, opened fire and succeeded to free their crime-partners.
Police chased them and opened fire, five of the dacoits were killed in exchange of fire, while a constable got minor injury.
Killed criminals were recognized as Jabbar alias Baau, Imran, Ashraf, Basharti and Arshad alias Sethi, they were wanted to local police in more 90 robbery cases.
