LAHORE: Pakistan middle order batsman Umar Akmal is likely to get clean chit from Pakistan Cricket Board, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, initial investigation report of Umar Akmal dance party scandal has been sent to PCB in which Umar has been declared innocent.
Umar Akmal now likely to be included in the T20 squad against England.
A report which was sent to PCB stated that there was no case registered against Umar Akmal and nor he was involved in any unacceptable activity.
It is to be kept in mind that Akmal who was dropped from T20 squad last day and suspended from central contract of PCB for being reported to be caught at a dance bar in Hyderabad during SNGPL’s domestic tour to Hyderabad for a Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match.
Shahid Afridi, Pakistani T20 team skipper was jumped in to defend the talented lad and also requested PCB to include him in T20 squad against England if he has done nothing.
