Karachiites reject MQM’s mourning day shutterdown call

KARACHI: Peaceful Karachiites rejected Mutahhida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) call to shutdown business in Karachi on its Mourning day over extra judicial killings of its workers.

According to details, smooth transport on roads and routine business activities were opened in Karachi despite of the MQM’s call to shutdown all business activities to observe mourning day.

Yesterday, while talking to media senior leader of MQM Farooq Sattar asked Karachiites to close their businesses and markets to observe mourning day  over extra judicial killing of three of its workers near Northern Bypass in Karachi.

After his press conference, Director general of Rangers in Karachi warned against the forced shutdown business and any other activities in Sindh and particularly in Karachi.

DG Rangers said, “We cannot allow anyone to bring the life in the metropolis to a paralyzing halt.” and today everything is as normal as everyday in Karachi.

Moreover, today Rangers has arrested 8 suspects for forcing traders to shutdown business in Karachi.
