KARACHI – Director of Omar Associates and president of Pakistan Cricket Club, Nadeem Omar announced cash prize of Rs 500,000 for Pakistani all-rounder Anwar Ali.
Prominent cricket organizer, Nadeem Omra congratulate the Pakistan team for sensational one-wicket win in the final T20 match against Sri Lanka and announced the cash award for Anwar Ali.
He said that Anwar Ali deserved to be awarded for his blistering inning against Sri Lanka and he also hinted to organize a function in honor of Anwar Ali.
I believe this lad has a very bright future in international cricket and will definitely continue to do Pakistan proud” he added.
Earlier, PIA spokesman said they were promoting Anwar Ali to an officer rank in the aftermath of his outstanding innings against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan were on the verge of a hopeless defeat in the match when Anwar Ali took the charge and sailed his team across with a memorable knock.
Anwar Ali scored quick 46 of just 17 balls and brought Pakistan close to an unbelievable victory.
He was awarded man of the match award for his match-winning performance.
