Kagiso Robada makes debut hat trick

DHAKA: As the Bangal Tigers took on mighty South Africa in three-match ODI series, an African bowler has announced himself in international cricket by taking a hat trick on its debut match.

Right-arm fast bowler Kagiso Rabada took back-to-back three wickets on last three deliveries of his second over and became only second international player to achieve this feat.

Rabada who dismissed top Bangladeshi batsmen Soumya Sarkar, Mahmudullah and Tamim Iqbal to complete his hat trick has so far taken four wickets in the game.

Bangladesh who took a confident start now seem in trouble after losing their top four batsmen for 52 after 10 overs.

Earlier, Taijul Islam from Bangladesh took first ever debut hat trick against Zimbabwe in December 2014.
