PESHAWAR – At least five security personnel were injured on Wednesday in a firing and mortar shelling incident from afghan security forces side.
The incident took place in South Waziristan Agency bordering Afghanistan which resulted in injuring of five security personnel.
Sources said that tensions were rising across the border after the Taliban have geared up their attacks in Afghanistan, adding that the afghan government was blaming Pakistan for the destabilization in their country.
The afghan government had earlier accused an official of security agency for the afghan parliament attack on June 22.
