Sarfraz falls in ‘Nervous Nineties’ while Asad solid on crease

GALLE – The responsible batting by middle order batsman Asad Shafiq and wicket Keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, put Pakistan in charge in the Galle test.

Just when Sri Lanka seemed to have control over the match, the solid knock by Sarfraz -who got 96 runs before he was clean bowled by Prasad- put Pakistan in formidable position.

Asad Shafiq is batting on 48 while Wahab Riaz has just joined him on the crease, as Pakistan need 63 more runs to level the first innings score of Sri Lanka i.e 300.
