FAISALABAD: Sialkot Stallions have beaten Lahore Lions by 74 runs to win the Haire Super Eight Twenty 20 title and also get a ticket to play Champions League T20 qualifies.
Sialkot Stallions have easily thrashed Lahore Lions in the final of the tournament being played at Iqbal Cricket Stadium Faisalabad.
Lahore side was restricted to 123 in 20 overs on loss of eight wickets chasing mammoth total of 197 against Sialkot on Monday.
Sultan Ahmed, Bilal Asif and Mukhtar Ahmed picked up two wickets for the winning side.
Umar Akmla showed some resistance against the spin attack of Sialkot but lost his wicket after scoring 35 runs.
Earlier, Sialkot after winning the toss posted that huge total thanks to Nauman Anwar’s brilliant hand of 97 runs.
Haris Sohail also scored 47 runs for the side.
Aizaz Cheema picked up four wickets while Qaiser Ashraf grabbed three wickets for the losing side.
