KARACHI – The senior representative of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Waseem Akhtar, said that Chaudhry Nisar should resign from his designation at once due to failure in maintaining law and order in the country on Wednesday.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has no moral right to stay in his post as he failed to maintain law and order in the country and to bring about peace in Pakistan, said Waseem Akhtar.
MQM has also announced to observe one day mourn for the deadly attack of terrorists on bus in Karachi.
The leader of MQM, Altaf Hussain, said that its Islamic State (IS) and Taliban who attacked the bus.
He also said that if Prime Minister and Chief Minister Sindh cannot tell the people about the obstacles in the way of bringing peace in the country, then they should resign from their respective positions and let the competitive person handle the situation.
Terrorist attacked the bus on Wednesday morning and killed 45 people and 15 are still severely injured.
CM Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, has announced compensation for the deceased and injured person with Rs 5 lac for each deceased and Rs 2 lac for each injured person respectively.
