Even India, following Pakistan, has had 995 sixes in their test match history. However, the Aussies lead the way with a record of 1463 sixes in test match cricket.
Another record made during this test is peculiar in itself. Imran Khan, the pacer has played 4 matches since his debut against Australia in UAE. With a great wonder, he has yet to face a bowler. Imran Khan has never played a single ball in international test cricket since the time he came into it.
Senior test batsman Younas Khan has also marked himself in test records. He has become the player to have suffered least “nervous nineties” after Don Bradman. Younas Khan went back to pavilion in nineties only once when he was dismissed at his 199 against India; Whereas Don Bradman has never become a victim of nervous nineties throughout his career.
