Karachi – A senior police officer DSP, Abdul Fateh, along with head constable, Nazeer, and Constable, Waheed, killed in Karachi by target killing on Friday.
Karachi once again becomes a witness of an unfortunate incident of target killing.
The incident took place in the area of Gulshan-e-Hadeed near Baara Morh where unidentified men opened fire on a police vehicle.
Three police men including a senior police officer DSP Abdul Fateh are reported to have been killed. According to the initial reports, 4 unidentified men on motorcyles opened fire, resulting in the loss of 3 lives including a DSP.
The area has been sealed by the police and investigation process has been started. Examination of the deceased police men reveals that the bullets were received in the thoracic region.
The murderers after reaching the police vehicle aimed at the neck region of driver and shot multiple rounds.
Bullet shells recovered from the site reveal that a 9mm pistol was used in the incident.
The police have cordoned off the venue immediately after this unfortunate incident and have started investigating into the matter.
