Rain Multiplies The Danger Of Dengue

RAWALPINDI – Due to recent rains, dengue conditions are getting worse in Rawalpindi. Even the Anti-Dengue campaign could not be started in susceptible areas.

Despite the collection of larva samples from Potohar Town, lady workers have been sent for mother child care training program.

Due to this, the checking process in the union councils Dhaama Sayeedaan, Kalyaal, Morgah and Kotha kalaan could not be started yet.

Presence of larva has been affirmed during checking in 30 different areas including Kamaal Abad, Tulsa road, RA bazar, People’s Colony, Dhok Chaudhriyan, Tahli Mohri.

The examination team of entomology specialists comprising of Muhammad Waqar, Kashif Mehmud, Abdul Waheed, Dr. Shehzad Tahir and Faisal Bashir conducted the examination of susceptible areas upon the orders of DCO Rawalpindi.

DHO-3 Dr. Ansar Ishaq supervised the team. During this indoor and outdoor surveillance, 2085 places with more than 500 houses and 9244 elements of contagious significance were inspected by the team.
