Zimbabwe cricket team agree to visit Pakistan in May

LAHORE: Cricket-starved Pakistani fans may finally get a reprieve as talks for a possible tour by Zimbabwe entered its final phase, as Zimbabwe cricket team have agreed to visit the country in May this year.

According to ExpressNews, Zimbabwe cricket has agreed to send their team to Pakistan in May.

The final talk between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Zimbabwe will be held in Dubai next week where they would confirm the tour, reports.

It is pertinent to mention here that team manager Naveed Akram Cheema had met Zimbabwe officials during the World Cup where they showed interest in Pakistan visit.

International cricket in Pakistan has been blocked since the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009, and now the grounds of the country are once again expected to taste international cricket.
