One of the most popular instant messaging apps in the world, WhatsApp, introduced its PLUS version 6.72 to discover more customisations as compare to simple WhatsApp application.
WhatsApp already hinted to add Voice Call feature in the widely used app across the world, however, the PLUS version attracted millions following its top five features although its official released but available on official website where the company tests out new features.
New Emoticons:
Emoticons are widely used by the people to express their emotions and feelings, focusing to such demands, WhatsApp Plus offers several new emoticons which are quite similar with Google Hangouts.
Better Privacy:
WhatsApp is believed to give its users to hide their online status while current version of WhatsApp only allowed people to hide their ‘last seen’ status. With improved privacy feature, the user will be hide their status but you will also be blocked to see friends’ online status.
Unlimited File Sharing:
WhatsApp Plus allows its users to share lengthy videos, music and other files citing the demands for sharing lengthy files weighing more than 50 Mega Bytes (MBs). However, the maximum limit of file sharing has not yet revealed. On the other hand, WhatsApp restricts users by giving an option to cut the file short before sharing it with friends.
New Themes And Customisation:
WhatsApp Plus equipped with more than 700 themes as per user’s demand which can be customised in many ways by changing colors and fonts while current version of WhatsApp only has wallpapers.
Appearance Settings:
WhatsApp plus allows users to change various appearance settings on the app according to their likeness. Header, color and size of icons, texts and images of chats as well as contacts’ avatars can be changed via this feature.
HOW TO INSTALL WHATSAPP PLUS?
To install WhatsApp PLUS you MUST NOT have any previous version of WhatsApp already installed, official website said.
WhatsApp PLUS may cause problems with custom ROMs, and is thus advisable not to have any installed on your device.
If you receive the message ‘The date of the device is incorrect. Adjust your clock and try again’, you will need to update your version of WhatsApp.
