ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership on Tuesday sought one-day to decide whether to support establishment of military courts in the country or not.
Major coalition partner of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government, PPP leadership still undecided to support establishment of military courts.
Differences emerged between political parties over military courts establishment across the country during meeting of National Action Plan Committee (NAPC) to finalise action plan against terrorism.
AÂ politico-religious parliamentary party, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), opposed establishment of the military courts during session of the National Action Committee Plan (NAPC).
Awami National Party (ANP) also reportedly rejected to support military courts establishment in the country.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan while chairing the session of the committee submitted a draft of the recommendations of the working group comprising of 18 points.
