KARACHI: The cops of country’s largest metropolitan city are reportedly about to get a huge salary hike that would increase their income as much as 65 per cent.
The news was shared by one social media account on micro-blogging website Twitter by an account with a title ‘Karachi Police Media’ on Tuesday.
According to the tweet this salary hike is meant to attract more cops.
Karachi Police considering a raise in the salaries of its Investigators i.e. 65 %, This incentive is in order to attract more cops.

The authenticity of the account could not be verified. However, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s representative of Sindh Government Sharmila Faruqi also follows this account which is a good hint at its credibility.
The bio-details shared at this twitter handle reads as “It is a new office established in order to coordinate with Media and provide authentic information to keep all abreast.
