ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his satisfaction over effective security arrangements for Ashura procession, as the day was observed peacefully with no untoward incident.
The Prime Minister has praised the security forces, law enforcement agencies and provincial governments over watertight strict measures to ensure law and order in the country on Ashura.
Likewise, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has also greeted law enforcement agencies over foolproof security on 9th and 10th Muharram.
He said: “law enforcement agencies role to ensuring law and order situation on Ashura in the province is praiseworthy”.
He also lauded members of cabinet committee for their role in ensuring peace and security on Ashura.
