DUBAI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Indian legendary batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid will visit Pakistan for an exhibition match, Dwan News reported on Monday.
The expected visit of the legendary cricketer is part of the efforts to revive international cricket in the country .
Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board Chairman Nazmul Hasan had agreed to send Bangladesh team to Pakistan if if International Cricket Council (ICC) sent its officials to Pakistan.
Nazmul Hasan said, “We have offered Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to use their grounds. This step will bring both boards closer.”
PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan had urged BCB to send team to Pakistan in order to revive international cricket in the county.
Sir Lankan cricket team was attacked in 2009 at Lahore that led foreign teams to desert Pakistan over security concerns.
