ISLAMABAD: A news item appearing in a section of print as well as electronic media has reported (not TheNewsTribe) that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif influenced NAB to have 143 corruption cases closed against him.
NAB categorically refutes such reporting as patently incorrect, baseless and without any substance. NAB wishes to assert that till date not even a single case against the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members has been closed.
NAB also wishes to assert itself as an independent and apolitical organization. NAB investigates and processes all cases strictly on merit, on the basis of evidence available and irrespective of the status and position of the accused.
