PTI discovers ‘legal way’ to get PM’s resignation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee has discovered a ‘legal way’ to grab Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation during core committee’s meeting in Islamabad.

After emerging expectations of deadlock end in dialogues, PTI core committee has been apprised by legal experts about findings of ‘scope of PM’s resignation in accordance to Pakistani Constitution’.

The meeting was chaired by PTI chairperson Imran Khan on the roof top of his special container being used in Islamabad protest while top leadership of the political party and legal experts.

Legal experts suggested PTI’s elite board to demand ‘temporary resignation of Prime Minister until vote rigging probe completed by judicial commission’.

The experts said that PM Nawaz Sharif will be restored on the post if vote rigging allegations proved ‘wrong’.

Justice (Retd.) Wajihuddin and Hamid Khan were also invited in the significant meeting before holding expected dialogues with Pakistani government likely to be commenced on today’s night, local media reported.

Despite firm demand of PM’s resignation, PTI committee have included the ‘legal solution’ in their agenda of upcoming dialogues’ process.

It should be mentioned that several political circles claimed chances for resuming negotiations between Pakistan government and protesting political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
