ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has expressed its concerns over induction of the political party in dialogues committee formed by Pakistani government.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government had announced to form two committee to hold dialogues with protesting political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
Differences has emerged between Pakistan’s government and MQM now as the Altaf Hussain-led MQM expressed its fear that induction of government coalition partner in intermediation committee would cause damage in the negotiation process.
According to reports, Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Haider Abbas Rizvi has been nominated for the committee to commence dialogues on behalf of PMLN government with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leadership.
Sources revealed that MQM has decided to play its vital role in negotiations via independent and neutral platform.
