Shahid Afridi likely to become captain for 2015 World Cup

KARACHI: Pakistan former legendary wicket-keeper Rashid Latif, on Tuesday, said that all-rounder Shahid Afridi could be appointed as captain for the ICC World Cup 2015.

The World Cup will be held from February to March in Australia and New Zealand.

“If Pakistan team has to face the defeat in the ongoing Test and ODI series against Sri Lanka then board should change the captain,” Latif said.

Pakistan lost its first Test match by seven wickets against Sri Lanka in Galle.
