PPP co-chairman contacts JI Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari has made telephonic conversation with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq.


Zardari and Haq discussed the current political situation of the country including the upcoming anti-government protests.

Zardari urged the JI Ameer to play his role to end ongoing political differences with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and his ally party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The five-minute long telephonic conversation ended with an agreement between Asif Ali Zardari and Siraj-ul-Haq to continue efforts for the moves belonging to country’s interests.

Siraj-ul-Haq assured Zardari for maximum efforts in interests of the country.
