KARACHI: It’s a day of mourning for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as the party has recovered four dead bodies of party workers on Thursday from Memon Goth area in Karachi.
On the MQM call, markets, public transport and all private educational institutions of the metropolis will remain closed today.

This was announced by Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in a press conference held at nine zero on Thursday night.
He said that the party will conduct a quiet protest against ‘repression, barbarism and the continued extrajudicial murders’ of party workers today (Friday).
Siddiqui has requested traders, businessman, transporters and industrialists to cooperate with MQM in the peaceful protest.
He also urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action against injustice with MQM and its workers.
He said that government is negotiating with culprits who does not accept the constitution of Pakistan and responsible for killing countless innocent citizens of Pakistan.
In addition, private schools in Karachi are closed today and also the intermediate examination, scheduled for today, has been postponed due to the strike call by MQM.
