CHANDIGARH: Former Miss India and Aam Aadmi Party (AAM) candidate Gul Panag has started her election campaign in a surprising manner as she turned a biker girl in Chandigarh for Lok Sabha polls scheduled on April 10.
Beauty queen Gul Panag was seen moving on a motorbike on city roads during her election campaigning as well as inviting citizens travelling in public buses, Indian media reported.
Panag is a Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Chandigarh for Lok Sabha polls, who amazingly found running amongst public without having any hesitation and avoiding security concerns.
Locals got surprised after her presence between them when the model girl was seen enjoying tea from a roadside vendor.
Moreover, the 35-year-old boarded on public bus in Chandigarh and seen insisting by saying that ‘I don’t know about the others, but conductor-saab, you must let me buy my own ticket,”, NDTV reported.
Panag would get tough electoral competition from another former actor Kirron Kher, and Pawan Bansal who won 4 elections to parliament.
