Islamabad: The special court on Friday has issued non-bailable arrest warrant for former military ruler Pervez Musharraf if he will not presented in the court till March 31.
A three member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab was hearing the case.
Musharraf had to be produced before court in high treason case for imposing an emergency in the country on November 3, 2007.
But he failed to present once again by claiming security threat as the interior ministry had issued a letter in which it claimed that terrorists can target the former military ruler at any time, adding that the plot was traced after a phone call was intercepted.
On the start of the hearing, his legal team filed an application in the special court to exempt him from appearing before it today due to security threats.
The court issued the non-bailable arrest warrant for Musharraf if he will not be presented in the court till March 31
