New Spell of Rain Expected to Start Across Pakistan from Today

Islamabad: A new spell of rainfall is expected to start in various cities across Pakistan from today.

According to the spokesperson of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), there is a likelihood of thundershowers in different places from today until April 29. There is a risk of flooding in the streams and rivers of Balochistan from April 26 to 27.

The spokesperson mentioned that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from April 27 to 28, which may lead to flooding in rivers and canals. Landslides are anticipated in Upper KP, Murree, Galyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan from April 27 to 29.

The spokesperson advised that the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and other agencies remain alert.
