KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lighted a record 23ooo lamps at Quaid-e-Azam’s tomb making “Peace” sign to pay homage to great leader and his city on Sunday.
The party workers paid homage to Pakistan’s founder and his birthplace. the city of Karachi after a day long protest against the mausoleum’s disrespect organized with the partnership of a private TV channel.
The protest was organised after a local TV channel show found some unacceptable and suspicious activity inside the Mazar-e-Quaid Mausolem.
Many other parties too joined the protest and called for Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of the crime as it is a disrespect of Pakistan.
PTI leader Naz Baloch and ARY News anchor Iqrar-ul-Hasan Syed were leading the protest.
