ISLAMABAD: Banned militant outfit, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), spokesperson claimed today that they will appreciate serious and sincere efforts for talks and if society’s serious segment comes forward , a dialogue is possible.
He lamented that his organisation was betrayed before in the name of talks and now they don’t want the government to dodge and hit game, according to a Pakistani private TV channel.
TTP spokesperson added that blasts in mosques and places of worship are activities of anti-state and anti-Islam elements.
The statement came amid a military operation in North Waziristan, which according to some reports have damaged the militants alot besides killing their commander Adnan Rasheed.
More recently, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has categorically stated that the military operation against militants will continue.
