QUETTA – Pakistan security agencies have arrested three terrorists linked with the Mastong incident killing 28 people of Hazara Shiite community.
The arrests were made from Derringer, Kanak and other areas of Balochistan, the restive province of the country, officials said.
According to reports, over 350 personnel of Frontier Corps, Anti-terrorism Force and police carried out the operation to trace out the terrorists involved.
The operation seems to be the result of Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s visit to the province during which he appeased Hazara Community elders, who ended 37-hour long sit-ins across the major parts of the country.
As many as 28 people from the community, facing a threat from some extremists – though Shiite extremists also targeting Sunni scholars as claimed by Sunni organizations- outfits on Tuesday attack while returning from Iran near Mastung.
