ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani government has decided to set up a joint intelligence directorate to counter terrorism in an effective manner.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad‚ Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said the army will investigate into the terrorist act‚ which took place in Bannu Sunday.
He said a huge quantity of ammunition was used in the blast.
He said investigation is in progress to ascertain whether it was a suicide attack or a bomb explosion.
The interior minister asked political parties to unite the nation instead of point-scoring.
