A availability of dual-SIM edition of the HTC One smartphone has been announced in the UK by the Taiwanese smartphone maker.
The dual-SIM HTC One smartphone can be ordered from www.officialhtcstore. com for £495 without contract. The standard HTC One also costs £495. The handset maker has also confirmed that it is in advanced talks with resellers and networks to sell the dual-SIM handset with a service contract.
Users will be able to make and receive calls from both SIM cards alongside. It means users will not have to select a SIM card for making a call.
While the original HTC One handset is a sealed unit, the dual-SIM version comes with a removable back cover. It features a microSD slot, which allows users to increase the phone’s 32GB of onboard storage up to 64GB.
The dual-SIM HTC One is 10 grams heavier and 1mm thicker than the standard model of the smartphone.
Otherwise, the new phone is identical to the standard model. It has the same 1.7GHz quad-core processor, same battery, 2GB of RAM, and HD display, which we see in the standard model.
HTC is aiming the dual-SIM HTC One at business users, who currently have to carry both a home phone and a work phone.
