KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to impose ban on pillion riding of motorcycle in Karachi for two days during of Muharram keeping in view worsening law and order situation in the city.
Sindh provincial government has decided to restrict the pillion riders in Karachi for two days on 9th and 10th of the Islamic month of Muharram, local media quoted the governmental sources.
Higher authorities have sent letter to the provincial interior minister for formal releasing of the notification for imposing ban.
According to sources, the ban notification would be effective immediately after its release while old citizens, women, children, journalists and security officials would be exempted from the ban.
