KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader, Faisal Sabzwari said that the provincial government has reserved all rights of local bodies elections. He said that public opinion must be counted while making new districts.
While talking to the media, he said that delimitation must not be done on political basis. MQM enjoys 85% mandate of Karachi. He said that public opinon must also be taken into consideration while making new districts.
The MQM leader said that amendment in the local bodies act cannot be done by officials of local bodies. He challenged new local bodies act of Sindh and said that there is no facility provided to the representatives.
