ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chief Imran Khan on Saturday rejected a recent increase in the costs of electricity and demanded to revoke the electricity prices, The News Tribe reported.
Talking to media persons at press conference here along with other leaders of PTI, Imran Khan said the poor formers and citizens of Pakistan can’t afford the recent increase in electricity prices.
PTI’s chief said everyone gets the answer of “who involved in rigging” from the reports submitted by NADRA.
PTI will start a nationwide protest if not get justice as the application has been taken against the rigging during polls to election tribunals in ECP, He said.
Imran Khan said the appointment of new NAB chairman would be a deal of government and Pakistan People’s Party, and PTI will soon challenge the appointment in the court.
“Only 0.7 million people paid taxes in Pakistan”, Imran Khan said and added that more than 30 million people would be brought into the taxation.
PTI’s chief added that powerful people have been declared Tax-free and majority of businessmen don’t pay the taxes.
