With the ‘season of tablet’ is ongoing, Microsoft is coming up with its next generation tablet, Surface Pro 2.
The tablet is coming in a scenario when Microsoft is in final stages to get Nokia’s mobile phone unit.
The software giant has been struggling to get its feet on a firm land in the devices category. For this, it has planned to launch two devices, Surface 2 and Surface Mini.
“When the company announced its Surface tablets it once again shocked its Windows licensees by directly competing with them, because it wanted to compete with Apple,” iTechPost reported.
According to the report, Surface Pro and the other device from Microsoft would enable it to go head to head with tech giant Apple.
The other significant thing, Microsoft wanted to achieve, is to make Windows Blue and Windows RT recognized players of the smart devices.
