LAHORE: Chinese Power International Company has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pakistan’s provincial government of Punjab for generating 2400 mega watts electricity.
The Chinese power company showed agreement for assistance in constructing four coal power plant in Pakistan for elimination of electricity crisis.
Signing the memorandum of understanding has made in a prestigious ceremony which was attended the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and special delegation from Chinese Power International Company.
While detailing the coal project, CM Shahbaz Sharif said that all the four plants will be installed at a coastal village of Gadani in Balochistan province of Pakistan.
The upcoming coal project will produce significant amount of electricity upto 2400 mw in Pakistan. Two of four projects will be reached into production level in two years while rest of two will take four years to be completed.
