With its rivals have already been flooding markets with their manufactured devices, Apple’s iPad Mini 2 is likely to be further delayed till 2014.
The US tech giant is forced to delay the second generation mini tablet due to shortage of Retina Display panels, which are likely to be the part of the device.
Apple has plans to introduce its reported 7.9 inch iPad mini with Retina Display, a thing which was missing in iPad Mini’s first edition.
Rather, Apple got criticism on introducing a highly priced mini tablet as compared to other 7 inch tablets from other players in the market even with great display and tech specifications.
Apple launched iPad Mini at a price of $ 329; however, reportedly the sales didn’t see any effect. But iPad 4 sales was affected as some analysts believe that iPad Mini outsells the large counterpart.
Now there is a not so pleasant news for Apple lovers.
According to a report of Economic Daily, Apply is likely delay its launch of iPad Mini 2 till 2014. The delay is because of shortages of Retina Display panels for the device.
But this couldn’t be confirmed as Apple has kept its secretive nature of launching products. So we have to wail the fourth quarter of 2013 to see whether Apple launches its next range of products or not.
