LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has convinced the displeased founding leader Fauzia Kasuri and deputed her as special advisor to him.
The success to appease Fauzia Kasuri was a joint effort of PTI chief Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Insaf Student Federation’s president Farrukh Habib and secretary Waqas Iftikhar Butt.
The prominent leader of PTI, also named as Mother of PTI, has expressed his agreement to join back Insaafians on Sunday, sources closer to PTI said.
According to TNT previous reports, the former president of PTI women’s wing has decided to rejoin the party on unconditional basis after an important meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan as by-election contesting or vital post might be offered. By-election is schedule on August 22 by Election Commission of Pakistan.
The sources added that an important telephonic conversation was made between Khan and Kasuri for resolving the misunderstandings and reservations on several issues.
ISF secretary Waqas Butt has confirmed the joining back of Fauzia Kasuri as well as the appointment on the certain post of advisor.
Moreover, the founding member of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided earlier to quit her party on dejection over alleged injustices in allocation of reserves seats for women in national assembly.
Kasuri is grieved over negative attitude for her from the party’s top leadership as even not inserted in the list of NA members.
It is pertinent to be notified, PTI Ayesha Gulalai Wazir of South Waziristan, making another historical move, has offered Fauzia Kasuri to take her National Assembly (NA) seat instead of leaving the party.
